CAEI is the largest mango producer nationwide. Its plantations are located in the Catalina section, in the Baní province, within an area of 3,600 hectares.
The company uses the Keit, Parvin, Palmer, Haden, Kent and Banilejo varieties. The total production, estimated at 1.4 million units, is destined for local sales and export sales, mainly to Europe. By next year, production has been projected at 1.7 million units.
