Quality

A genuine CAEI hallmark

Producing with quality, safety and efficiency

In our quest to produce sugar of the highest quality, with the most rigorous safety and hygiene standards and through sustainable processes that preserve the environment, CAEI carries out various monitoring and control measures. These procedures include a strict sampling and analysis program that covers all stages of the production chain, from sugarcane planting to sugar production. Highly qualified personnel are involved in monitoring these processes, transforming research into technical data, which the departments then convert into timely decisions to make our work more efficient.

Quality Management System (QMS)

Through periodic audits, the QMS ensures compliance with our quality policies, standards and regulations. In addition, as an operational unit, it follows up on corrective actions at each stage of the production process. The QMS performs two tasks that are essential to the company:

Maintaining quality parameters.

Ensuring that our sugar and its derivatives comply with Dominican legislation, international standards and certifications, and customer requirements.

Reducing losses

Monitor all operations with the purpose of reducing process inefficiencies.

Safety, Hygiene and Occupational Health (SHAOH)

The safety, health and well-being of our employees are paramount for CAEI. Therefore, in addition to providing a safe work environment, the Safety, Hygiene and Occupational Health Management (SHAOH) ensures that the company complies with the rules set forth in the Safety and Industrial Hygiene Regulations. These standards encourage the prevention of occupational hazards and ensure that no employee suffers injuries or health problems. It also ensures safe working conditions in our facilities and avoids harm to the environment. The CAEI has been certified in this area by the Ministry of Labor of the Dominican Republic.
