Industrial Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Management System (SiSSA)
The safety, health and well-being of our employees are paramount for CAEI. Therefore, in addition to providing a safe work environment, the Industrial Safety, Occupational Health and Environment Management System (SiSSA) ensures that the company complies with the rules set forth in the Safety and Industrial Hygiene Regulations. These standards encourage the prevention of occupational hazards and ensure that no employee suffers injuries or health problems. It also ensures safe working conditions in our facilities and avoids harm to the environment. The CAEI has been certified in this area by the Ministry of Labor of the Dominican Republic.
SiSSA’s regulations include several procedures that confirm CAEI’s leadership in occupational safety, including:
Entry to confined spaces
Fall protection
Crane safety
Electrical safety
Safety when handling hazardous substances
Fire protection
Safety in fields, railroads, offices, common areas, workshops and warehouses
Safety during sugarcane cutting
